The Weekend We Knew

Synopsis

Still nursing a broken heart, Cole expects nothing more from a quiet weekend away than a chance to forget. Then he meets a woman who seems to understand exactly what it feels like to need an escape. What begins as a chance encounter becomes a tender, fleeting romance between two people who know that Monday is coming, even if neither of them wants to think about it.

The Weekend We Knew is a sweet, grown-up romantic story about connection, heartbreak, and the strange beauty of meeting the right person at the wrong time. More Hallmark than heat, it's a romance built on conversation, chemistry, and the bittersweet question of whether something has to last forever to matter.

How it came together

The Weekend We Knew was a story that surprised me. Romance is not a genre I ever considered exploring, but the story just came out of me complete. It started out as a conversation at the bar in my mind's eye, and the story continued to reveal itself over the next couple of days. I've never written a story so quickly, and I found myself smiling throughout the process.

The Weekend We Knew is a novella that can be read in a couple of hours, but I hope it brightens your day when you get a chance to read it. The story will be ready within the next couple of weeks. Feel free to read the first chapter before deciding to purchase a copy.

I hope you enjoy, and as always, Happy Reading :)
